You may know a gear junkie like Dave. He researches his purchases carefully. He watches for sales. He uses his gear hard. Then, he cleans his gear after each use and stores it properly, ready for the next outing. Dave, you rule.

Typically, I'd expect to have a soggy, sweaty swamp on my back from wearing a backpack, but all the ridges on that molded foam would keep the air moving and the thing looked comfortable. Indeed, hot as it was on that trip at times, I never noticed a sweaty swamp on Dave's back. (Ick.)
