Serious sale prices on Osprey packs, Canari Barrier rain pants, and MUCH MORE in our Cyclosource store

September 13, 2015

Big sale on all Cyclosource clearance items, September 18–28, take an additional 20% off, but first, let's talk about Dave:

You may know a gear junkie like Dave. He researches his purchases carefully. He watches for sales. He uses his gear hard. Then, he cleans his gear after each use and stores it properly, ready for the next outing. Dave, you rule.

Reality check: Most of us aren't like Dave. This is why we keep an eye on people like him.

Is Dave's bike ever dirty?

So, when Dave showed up for a week-long bike trip with me, sporting an Osprey pack, I took notice. What especially caught my eye was the super-ventilated back panel. Typically, I'd expect to have a soggy, sweaty swamp on my back from wearing a backpack, but all the ridges on that molded foam would keep the air moving and the thing looked comfortable. Indeed, hot as it was on that trip at times, I never noticed a sweaty swamp on Dave's back. (Ick.)

And I never once saw his pack flop around or look uncomfortable during our slaying of singletrack. Likely, the four compression straps that secure the exterior shove-it pocket keep it riding nice and stable.

Dave likes a sale. And here's a sale for you! Our Cyclosource store has amazing clearance prices on many items including Canari Barrier rain pants and Osprey backpacks. You'll find low prices on these items and, of course, you'll be supporting the good work of Adventure Cycling. And from September 18–28, take an additional 20% off.

Footbrake Foldable Sandals

  • Don't pack space hogging shoes. These folding sandals proved perfect for our adventure. Park your bike, shed your cleats, and slip on Footbrake's fold-up, pocket-sized sandals for off-bike comfort. They are similar in size to a cell phone, allowing for easy storage in a pannier or jersey pocket.

Finally, Canari Barrier rain pants. I'm sure Dave's rain pants are as nice as these, but I never saw them because it never rained. Lucky for us.

If you need new rain pants, jump into these because the price is LOW.

Details: Articulated knees, full length reflective piping, leg zippers, pocket access zippers, toggled drawcord waist, and fully seam taped and sealed. Constructed with waterproof and breathable Gelanots fabric, these pants will keep you cool and dry during the harshest spring showers.
