June 28, 2013
We are in the homestretch of the Bright Lights, Big Adventure membership drive, here at Adventure Cycling. Over the course of the past 4 days, almost 150 new members have joined to find inspiration and resources for their next bike adventure. First-time members who join by 5pm MDT on June 30 will receive a free Sigma Micro light along with their membership packet. If you join today, you'll also be entered in today's raffle for a chance to win a Boreas Gear Lagunitas pack from Q-Outdoor.
The 25-liter capacity Boreas Gear Lagunitas is an incredibly versatile pack that works as well on a bike as on a hike. It has a variable trampoline suspension system to adjust the gap between the pack and your back, creating air flow and greater ventilation. It’s lightweight but durable construction brings the pack to a very comfortable 970 grams. The resilient foam waist belt evenly distributes pressure throughout and maintains volume under load. Made of lightweight, waterproof, 210D ripstop nylon fabric, the bright blue colorway with yellow highlights provides great visibility for commuting or bikepacking. There’s also an additional waterproof top pocket for electronics and valuables.
Thanks to everyone who has joined this week and to all of our members who have shared this with their friends! I will leave you with a little inspiration from one of our recent visitors.
Robert is spending two months riding our 4233-mile TransAm route, with his sister.
