Join the Giving Tuesday Movement!

December 1, 2015

Join the movement!

Today charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world are celebrating an international day of giving. Show your support of this exciting day by donating to Adventure Cycling. By making a donation today, you’ll be committing to make 2016 an exciting and dynamic year for bike travel.

Imagine a single weekend where campgrounds, motels, and B&Bs across North America are filled with traveling cyclists. Imagine the impact on local tourism and businesses, with smiling families and individuals riding to towns, shops, and restaurants. Imagine motorists driving more attentively with so many cyclists on roads and trails.

With your support, we're going to launch major outreach events like National Bike Travel Weekend and Bike to Your National and State Park Day — plus carry out all the important advocacy and education projects that make bicycle travel safer and more enjoyable.

Be one of the first ten to donate today and we'll send you the book Fifty Places to Bike Before You Die: Biking Experts Share the World's Greatest Destinations with contributions by Adventure Cycling's own Arlen Hall and other tour leaders.

And your donation will be leveraged by our Holiday Trailblazers, who are challenging supporters like you to match their fund of $140,000. Give today and, in celebration of Giving Tuesday, they will double your donation with a 2:1 match.

If you've been reading Adventure Cyclist, our blog, Bike Bits, or holiday campaign emails, you know that 2016 is going to be the biggest year ever for bike travel and you can be a part of it by making a gift. So join the movement and donate today to grow bicycle travel, create more Adventure Cycling routes and maps, further our advocacy work to create safer conditions for bike travel, and so much more!

Please join the bike travel boom with us by making a tax-deductible donation online at adventurecycling.org/holidaycampaign/.
