We hear you, and we’re here to help:
These kinds of questions come in all the time at Adventure Cycling, and it keeps us motivated to know that this work is going on in communities all over the country.
So, in partnership with The Path Less Pedaled, we decided to put together a “Tourists on Two Wheels” series of three print brochures that will help you make the case for bicycle tourism in your town.
The first brochure focuses on the demographics of bicycle travelers, why people travel by bicycle, and local economic benefits. The back features a case study of the bicycle camp in Twin Bridges, Montana.
The third, still in design phase, will highlight simple ways to be more bicycle-travel friendly, with a couple of case studies featuring the Pedal Perry program in Perry, IA, and a bike hostel in Mitchell, OR called Spoke’n Hostel.
The first two brochures are hot off the press and we’re excited to get them out there and put to use!
