Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
We love riding our bikes in North America’s most beautiful places,
What about you?
Happy Valentine’s Day!
As bicycle travelers, we love to experience America’s landscape at a human-powered speed. We plan our weekends around a bike overnight to a historic state park or our summer vacations cycling through multiple national parks.
But sometimes it feels like parks don’t love us back. Narrow shoulders, distracted drivers, and busy campgrounds with no place for cyclists can all make our park experiences feel like a little less than true love.
Will you help us change this by donating today?
Adventure Cycling’s advocacy team is partnering with parks so you can experience safer roads, better access, and improved bicycle amenities, but we need your help to advocate for these changes!
Many park officials agree that their parks could use improvements to bicycle infrastructure, but they don't know where to start. That’s where you come in. With your support, Adventure Cycling is able to share your experiences and our knowledge to create safer and better access to and through our public lands.
Last year we worked with parks like Natchez Trace Parkway, Glacier, Shenandoah, Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historical Park to make huge improvements for cyclists. We helped them with safety campaigns, car-free days, and securing funding for improvements.
With your help, this year we will advocate for:
Donate today to help America’s parks reinvent themselves around bicycle travel! And when you donate $100 or more, we’ll send you a gift to take on your next park adventure.
