Corporate Spotlight: China Highlights

We decided to ask them some questions and, as a result, have learned a few interesting things about our supporters that we'd like to share with you. The answers below are direct from the companies. We hope that this gives you the chance to get to know them a little better, too. For this post, Corporate Member China Highlights shares with us a bit about their guided bicycle tours, their passion for cycling, and why they support Adventure Cycling Association.

Please tell us a little bit about your company and your company’s background.

China Highlights is the leading bicycle tour operator in China since 1998, a division of CITS Guilin, established in 1959. We provide a range of China tours to all parts of China and specialize in customizing and tailor-making tours for individuals, families, and groups to specific preferences and requirements.

Our motto is ‘Discovery Your Way.’ Customers have the freedom to design their tours, with attention to every detail to make sure you have a unique and authentic China experience.

What services or products do you provide for bicycle tourists?

China Highlights provides bicycle tours in every part of China with full support, including bicycle rental, comfortable accommodation, lunch, guides, and beautiful scenery. We can also help you design a bike tour of China catered specifically to your interests and physical conditions.

Why do you support Adventure Cycling through corporate membership?

Cycling is a special and eco-friendly way of traveling. We believe cycling is the best way to explore the beauty of nature. We hope we can help to inspire more people to travel by bicycle.

What are some of your favorite cycling-related things right now?

Cycling through the beautiful countryside such as Yangshuo. Commuting by bike and inspiring more people to bike. Discovering more cycling routes in China. 

Is there anything else about your company that you would like to share with our readers?

The director of China Highlights was an English speaking tour guide of CITS Guilin. When he was requested to receive tour groups, he found most visitors were not satisfied with the trips, because they were in a big group tour. They were always on the road to get to the next destination and always seeing the same scenery. As he was also not happy with this type of holiday, he decided to create a website especially to operate private and customized tours, to offer his clients a unique and authentic China experience that best suits them.
