I know that right now there are a lot of good causes and organizations that are requesting your support. And I know that a bicycling organization might not be on your top-10 list charities to support before year-end. But if you're a cyclist, and if you're reading this blog, there's a very good reason to donate to Adventure Cycling this holiday season.

About a year ago, Tours Director Arlen Hall and I began receiving requests from tours participants to sponsor a young person on one of our tours. We are happy today to announce that you may now give to the Youth Touring & Leadership Fund to support a young person who wishes to attend one of our educational tours.

As you may know, Adventure Cycling’s mission is to inspire and empower people to travel by bicycle. Well, last week I was inspired by an amazing group of cyclists when I got the chance to ride my bike from New York City to Washington DC on Climate Ride.
