Hey William,
The locations of our winners are happenstance. We judge based on the quality of photo and subject. Our goal is to inspire others to travel by bike and that's what we're looking for in our photo contest — inspiration.
Thanks for your input!
I have a gripe guys firstly let me start by saying I love being a member and I like some of the contest you have and am proud of the winners . But here it come the gripe session Looks like to me the past 2 yrs of winners are the ones that travel outside the USA . Yes some of them are good pics but lot of them well . Not al of us can afford to go places like Iran ,china .Africa Europe . Just to name a few places it seems like that is all yeah care about . Not to many of us travelers can afford fancy trips like those it seems to me that those people are the least in need of a 2 year membership or 100 dollar off in the store and there is beautiful places in the United states. But it seems those people never win or get honorerable mention. I take sub 24 and 2 week tours quite often . but It is getting cold now and I am working like a mad man. But what I am saying you half to appeal to the common traveler not even 10% of us leaves the country . So having people from any of the listed above destinations for winners is not appealing to the masses it appeals to the 10% of the world travelers and not to the common man. Gripe over.
