Bike Your Park for a Chance to Win a Bike

September 5, 2016

The custom-painted Adventure Cycling 40th anniversary Salsa Marrakesh touring bicycle includes throwback Bikecentennial logos, a rear rack, and Brooks saddle.

Explore your parks and public lands by bicycle on September 24 AND get entered in a random drawing to win an Adventure Cycling 40th anniversary branded Salsa Marrakesh touring bicycle. It’s free to register and we’ll send a Bike Your Park Day sticker to everyone who signs up. You must register for Bike Your Park Day by the end of today — September 5 — to be entered in the bike drawing.

September 24 is also National Public Lands Day, a free entrance day in many parks.

Visit BikeYourParkDay.org to fill out a simple registration form with information like name of park or public land, mileage, group size, and route. You will also be asked if you want to make your trip open to others to join or if you’d rather just go solo or with friends. If you want to make your ride open to others you’ll be asked to provide an email address so you can be contacted. Just over 1,000 rides are registered, making your odds of winning the bike ... pretty darn good.

Register at BikeYourParkDay.org.

Even if you don’t know all of the details about your Bike Your Park Day ride, enter what you do know now. You can always log back into your My Adventure Cycling account and edit your ride details later.

Spend Bike Your Park Day with your family.

Bike Your Park Day rides can be with friends, family, or with a group. They can be on a separated bike path, a dirt road, singletrack mountain bike trail, on a rural road, or in an urban setting. You can visit any type of public lands, whether it’s a national or state park, monument or historic site, river, seashore, recreation area, preserve, forest, wildlife refuge, or parkway.

Explore the national monuments, historic sites, and parks in your city by bicycle on Bike Your Park Day.

Celebrate the National Park Service’s centennial, Adventure Cycling’s 40th anniversary, and National Public Lands Day by exploring or discovering a park or public land on September 24.

Try Bike Your Park Day with a group.

It’s your ride — and you are free to design it as your own. Just be sure to register at BikeYourParkDay.org by the end of today or you’ll miss out on a chance to win a new touring bicycle.
