Bicycle Touring Challenges

January 2, 2015

Someone once said to me that bicycle touring ain't easy. That's no joke. While I still think it's one of the best things you can do with your free time, the fact remains that it's not easy. To help you better prepare for your next adventure, here are some of the challenges you can expect to face out there.

Be cautious of bad route advice.

Wool has been known to shrink.

Good campsites can be hard to come by.

There are days you'll roll the dice on a water source.

It's unfortunate that when you're looking your best, often no one is around to see it.
