Along the Santa Ana

Name of Park or Public Land:
Santa Ana River Trail owned and operated by several public agencies

Number of participants:
2

Ride Description:

The trail that I will be riding currently goes from the Pacific Ocean in Huntington Beach to Corona California following the Santa Ana River. The trail is on flood control level and passes through Chino Hills State Park, Yorba Regional Park, 5 city parks and Huntington Beach State Park. I will be starting in Yorba Regional Park and cycle to Huntington Beach State Park and return. The trail is completely pave with the exception of three wood floor bridges. You lose about 350 feet of elevation riding toward the ocean and gain it riding back. The only "difficult" section is passing through the City of Santa Ana, which has several steep bridge underpasses.

Mileage: 45
