A loop-ride that morning will start from Schifferdecker Park pool parking lot, departing at 7:15 a.m. We'll touch 10 parks within the Joplin Parks & Recreation system. The mostly urban ride will be on paved city streets with moderate to low traffic flow, with some paved Park trails included.
The ride overall is a moderate, slow roll. Maps available for those who want to ride separate from the group or at their own pace. All skill levels are welcome. Safety gear is mandatory.
The ride will include Grand Falls for some great people/bike photos (Grand Falls Hill ONLY for those who dare, otherwise this portion is an out/back from Low Water Bridge).
For the group riders, we will stop along the water in Wildcat Park for a 20-minute snack/drink stop. A support vehicle will carry items from Schifferdecker to Wildcat.
Parks included: Schifferdecker, Cunningham, Mercy, McClellan, McIndoe, Wildcat, Parr Hill, Campbell Parkway, Ewert and Landreth.
