Thank you, and save the date for Bike Your Park Day in 2020: September 26.
This is a paved bikeway. Parts of it are multi-use (runners, skaters) but it is primarily travelled by cyclists. It will also pass through Massapequa Preserve. This is a safe off-road route. My point on this ride is not to go fast and hard, but to encourage more people to participate by taking a slower pace according to abilities. Of course, anyone would be welcome to ride ahead if they prefer a faster pace. One way is 13, round trip is 26. We'll ride from the north end near Woodbury. I will leave my car at the south end and can accommodate 4 others for those who only wish to go one way. If more participants prefer one-way, we can drop off additional cars at the Massapequa end.
Registration for this event is currently closed. Check back soon for the launch of Bike Your Park Day for 2020!
