Horseshoe Bend National Military Park

Ride Description:

A three-mile, paved loop in the Park. Rolling hills. Easy (walk short distance up hills, if necessary. Several pull-outs at different points with information and optional walking trails.

The Visitors Center has parking, displays, a short movie, restrooms and water. Admission is free; donations accepted gratefully.

After the loop, 10 and 25-mile, paved options outside the park on quiet, wooded county roads. The 10-mile is a level and easy out-and-back. The 25-mile is a rolling loop with one challenging hill climb from the river.

Afterwards, drive to a local restaurant (Niffer's Place Lake Martin) for food and grog.
