Join a Ranger for a ride on the historic C&O Canal towpath. Meet at Lock 38 near Ferry Hill and Shepherdstown, WV at 9 am, Saturday, September 28. Additional parking is located 1/4 mile downstream. The ride will go toward Dargan Bend (downstream) with a stop at the Antietam Creek Aqueduct for a round trip of around 16 miles. Bicycle helmets are required. The towpath is fairly flat with slight elevation change at each lock and is "off road" (no motor vehicles).
