TYO Connecting Neighbors through Park Trails

Ride Description:

TrailsforYouth.Org will lead a ride from Lake Accotink to Wakefield park highlighting the connectivity of the parks and communities. This route will start at Lake Accotink Park Marina (7500 Accotink Park Rd, Springfield 22150) and will ride to the outdoor classroom at Wakefield, then onto mountain bike trails. This ride showcases the trails that surround the parks and diverse communities. Riders should be on at least a 24" tire bike with gears and be comfortable riding, this is a beginner ride, but best suited for kids 10 or older. Families can opt out at any location but the guides will remain with the group through the full ride. Ride time will be ~2 hours from 9am - 11am and return back to the Marina at Lake Accotink Park.
