The Legacy Trail (11-miles) and the Venetian Waterway Trail (9-miles) are connected at the Venice Train Depot for a continuous 20-mile rail-to-trail asphalt and concrete path for pedestrians and bicycles. It is flat and fairly straight. Both trails are public parks and open from sunrise to sunset year-round (free, no fees).
It is quiet and peaceful going through Oscar Scherer State Park (great park with 15-miles of sand trails to walk) with the Venetian Trail ending in Shamrock Park (82 acre County Park).
This trip is not open for members of the public to join.
