Ride Description

We begin in Olympia and ride the Chehalis Western and Yelm Tenino trails.

These are rail trails, flat, paved and scenic. Appx 5 miles each day will be on

rural secondary roads. We have camp spots reserved for the group at Millersylvania

State Park. Some riders are staying at a hotel in Tumwater and you are free to

make other overnight accommodations. There are stores and restaurants along the

way and we can share stoves at camp to reduce what we need to carry.

Some riders will be stopping at a restaurant in Tenino for dinner before going to camp.

The rural road riding will be from Tenino to the Park on Saturday and from the Park

to the trail on Sunday. We will meet at 10 am Saturday and be ready to ride at 10:30.

Start address will be sent to registered riders.

There are route options and some riders will take a longer route on Saturday extending the

mileage from 40 to 50.

Be positive, flexible, resourceful, considerate and safe and join us for a rewarding weekend

exploring the fields, farms and history of South Puget Sound.
