Multimodal bikepacking week-end.
A few cycling Mainers taking the early Amtrak Downeaster into Boston. Pedaling along the Claire Saltonstall Bikeway (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claire_Saltonstall_Bikeway) from Boston out to Provincetown. Then taking the late ferry back to Boston. Then the later Amtrak back to Maine.
About 150 miles total, approx 50 each day. We're taking the Amtrak Downeaster into North Station then pedaling out to the Cape from there. Amtrak allows only four bikes on the train. As of 04.21.2022 the Amtrak part of this trip is full. If there's further interest you can meet us on Boston or along the way out to the keep. Hit me up w/ an email for any Q's on that.
"Fast as last" pace. No drop, we go the speed of the slowest rider, keeping it fun.
