I plan on riding out the FS 700 road (an early start is essential, as the orv'ers are plentiful on this road} south, and picking up FS 236 across Coulter Park to FS 132 south. Then I plan on picking up the AZT heading north, crossing FH3, then up toward Ashurst Lake and there the search for a quiet, solitary campsite will commence. Saturday I will pick back up on the AZT and ride it in towards Marshall Lake. I'll ride some pavement from there toward Flagstaff before turning off on my familiar dirt route, toward home where the cervezas await.
