Inaugural overnight ride of 2021 will be a 2 day ride to the Maine/New Hampshire border. I am using Komoot to plan my route. Most of the route is on paved road, but if I am lucky enough to find some gravel that will be great. My main goals are to learn to use my new cook stove and equipment purchased over the winter. I also am using this trip as an opportunity to include the Amtrak Downeaster to get home. I am keen to learn what it takes to get my bike on and off the train and I hope to expand that experience to include future tours further afield.
I am planning on staying at private campgrounds.
