Thank you for being part of an amazing weekend of bike travel! Bike Travel Weekend included over 700 trips with more than 5,600 participants in 50 U. S. states, 6 Canadian provinces, and 11 countries! It was a success because of YOU. We also want to give a shout-out to the Bike Travel Weekend volunteers who offered guidance to participants and helped promote Bike Travel Weekend.

Ride Description

This is part of a x-country bike ride. For this weekend, we plan to be on the Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail [https://parks.state.wa.us/521/Palouse-to-Cascades], a rail trail that spans most of the state of Washington. It follows the former railway roadbed of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad (Milwaukee Road) for 300 miles (480 km) across two-thirds of the state, from the western slopes of the Cascade Mountains to the Idaho border. The trail is managed by Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission.
