We'll start in Beaver, OK, and ride a counterclockwise loop, camping each night at remote out of the way parks, and state fishing lakes. Our water sources will be limited to the lakes and rivers (filtering required). The roads we travel will range from back country roads that were thinly paved years ago, dirt and gravel, and a few very light use state highways. A small portion of our route will be on a Federal highway with a magnificent 8'-12' shoulder. One section of gravel/dirt road will more than likely require some "hike-a-bike". Our route will start and end in the Oklahoma Panhandle, but will reach up in to the southwestern edge of Kansas. It's in Kansas, known for flat prairies, where we'll encounter the steep section of gravel/dirt roads. Amazingly beautiful, out of the way oasis camp spots will highlight this trip, with beautiful lakes and creeks just a few feet away. Camping every night, we'll arise to the sounds of nothing.........it's a beautiful thing!
