Thank you for being part of an amazing weekend of bike travel! Bike Travel Weekend included over 700 trips with more than 5,600 participants in 50 U. S. states, 6 Canadian provinces, and 11 countries! It was a success because of YOU. We also want to give a shout-out to the Bike Travel Weekend volunteers who offered guidance to participants and helped promote Bike Travel Weekend.

This Route follows the Kennet and Avon Canal. Mainly on the towpath alongside the canal including some road and tracks. It is a designated cycle route in the UK. Staying B&B each night. Leader Barry Williams,
Stoker Eddy Colclough, First Aid, Ron Spellman, Assistant navigator, Bill Barker.
The itinerary is as follows:
Friday: train to Windsor then cycle 32 miles along the Thames to Reading Canal, where we are staying at the Ibis Hotel, Reading
Saturday We cycle Reading to Pewsey , 40 miles along the Kennet and Avon canal stopping overnight at the Circles B&B, Pewsey
Sunday , We cycle Pewsley to Winsley , 55 miles along the canal staying at the Cherry Tree, Winsley.
We leave Rayleigh station at 11-06 , Ron will join us at Wickford station about 11-15 . Alight at Liverpool St at 11-49 , cycle to Paddington to catch the 12-50 to Slough where we change trains
