Save the date for next year’s adventure!! We are already looking ahead to June 3 – 5, 2022 for the next Bike Travel Weekend!
The trip will actually begin in a motor home in Wells ME on Tuesday or Wednesday 6/1 or 6/2. We will drive to New Hampshire just west of Lake Winnepsaukee and stay at a campground near the Northern Rail Trail in Grafton NH. We will ride an out and back north about 20 total miles one day and an out and back south about 20 total miles on day 2.
From there we will drive to our daughter's home in Webster, NY and spend the long weekend there. That will be home base to ride portions of the Erie Canal bike trail near Rochester, NY.
Riding will be on a Cannondale mountain tandem. We have combined trips in our motor home with bike trail rides for a number of years now and have decided to make our trip this year coincide with Bike Travel Weekend.
