We will leave from the trail head near Cartwright Park in Weatherford and follow the trail to the Lake Mineral Wells State Park. This is a trail way, off road, not sure of the surface. The description of the trail is, suitable for hiking, biking and horseback riding. I assume it will be hard packed gravel. There would be optional riding through the park and into the town of Mineral Wells within 5 miles of park. You are welcome to leave from the trail head at your convenience.
I have reserved a camp site, it is in the Post Oak area space 008. Up to 8 people are allowed on the site. My partner and I are 2 so there would be space for 6 people to join us. The daily fee at the park is $7 per person. The site has water but no electricity and is within 200 feet of a rest room. Bring your own gear and food.
There are maps and pictures on the Texas State Park web site.
1 person joined this ride and is entered in the sweepstakes.
