Thank you for being part of an amazing weekend of bike travel! Bike Travel Weekend included over 700 trips with more than 5,600 participants in 50 U. S. states, 6 Canadian provinces, and 11 countries! It was a success because of YOU. We also want to give a shout-out to the Bike Travel Weekend volunteers who offered guidance to participants and helped promote Bike Travel Weekend.

Save the date for next year’s adventure!! We are already looking ahead to June 3 – 5, 2022 for the next Bike Travel Weekend!
This will be a one night self-contained bike tour in partnership with Adventure Cycling Association. Ride from Denver to Castle Rock on the Cherry Creek Trail and Crowfoot Rd. Craft beer stops in Parker and Castle Rock. Lunch along the way, likely at the tap room with food truck. Dinner & breakfast & lodging on own. (Leader will spend night at the La Quinta). Return on Saturday, same route. Maps will be provided.
MILEAGE: 36 each way. Paved trail & roads with shoulder (mostly).
Moderate Pace: 10+ MPH. NO SAG, SO PLEASE BE ABLE TO RIDE THE ENTIRE ROUTE!
COVID Safety: Only fully vaccinated riders permitted. Your completed Vax card is required.
DATES: FRIDAY, JUNE 4. RETURN SATURDAY JUNE 5. Departure times and locations still TBD. Will provide to registered riders.

NOTE: If you want someone meet you in Castle Rock with your overnight gear and just ride your bike, that's OK. Definitely cheating, but OK.
