Ride Description

We will begin in downtown St. Marys, a coastal town on the Florida/Georgia border. We will travel northwest on a designated bike path to a light trafficked single lane road to another designated bike path due north along Kingsbay Naval Base boundary. From there we will connect to single lane moderate trafficked roads until we will ride the entire length of the recently finished "3 Rivers Trail". At the trails end we will be almost in downtown Kingsland and take the country backroads of Old Still Road and Kinlaw Road to US-17. We will travel north on US-17 for about 100 yards to Old Jefferson Highway which is part hard pack and part blacktop. This will detour us off of busy US-17 to connect to Billyville Road. We will take Billyville Road northeast until Lang Road into Ceylon Wildlife Management Area. Ceylon is public protected lands for outdoor recreation, hunting and primitive camping.
