All paved roads. Some riding on Highway 120 which is heavily traveled but has (mostly) wide shoulders. This is the Sierra Nevada foothills. First day starts at about 3000', climbs to about 5000' before stopping at approx 4000' elevation.. Second day is a reverse of day one. Rule of thumb:100' of climbing for every mile.
Small store at Buck Meadows & Camp Mather/Evergreen Lodge.
day 1, start Buck Meadows to Hetch Hetchy
Dry camp at Hetch Hetchy backpacking area
day 2 Hetch Hetchy to Buck Meadows
Entrance fee for Yosemite National Park is $15 for 7 days. If one has a pass, we might be able to get all in free as I have a pass that allows for 4 people. So if someone else also has a pass, we could get six in at no cost.
$6 per person to camp overnight at Hetch Hetchy backpacker campground..
More details to follow. Not done with planning at this point. edited 2/26/21
