Ride along the Beautiful North Umpqua River

Start Location:
Douglas County Library, Roseburg, Oregon

Number of participants:
36

Ride Description:

This entire ride is on very nice paved roads. The level of difficulty is intermediate. The first 20 miles are on quiet backroads with a 1000' climb. This is the only significant climb on the ride. The last 10 miles will be on highway 138, which can have a lot of traffic on summer weekends.

Those not up to doing the entire ride can meet us at Colliding Rivers Wayside in Glide, Or and ride the final 10 miles with us.

There will be a support vehicle to transport camping gear.

We will be camping at Susan Creek Campground on the North Umpqua River on highway 138.

This ride is only open to all paid members of the Umpqua Velo Club, umpquavelo.org, and the club is paying the camping fee.
