While I haven't been on tour with it yet, this is clearly the most robust and sturdy rack I have ever owned. Installation was not at all difficult, but the instructions were surprisingly confusing. That's a subjective statement to be sure. I suggest going to the Old Man Mountain website to find the correct rack for your bike, then going to Adventure to order. With the information on the Adventure Cycling store site, I ended up getting a rack that fits and works fine, but is not really ideal for my bike. There is more info on the OOM site that will guide you better.

Breeze to install; very solid in use. It's not light ... but I'm riding a dualie with a trailer and I'm 225 myself, so I guess I shouldn't be talking! You can see pictures at dreamtheride.com, where I'm sharing my bike life with all and sundry. Cheers, Greg
