I put these tires on my Trek 520 and did several thousand miles last year. Usually I would have experienced half a dozen punctures, however in this period I only experienced one very slow leak (bike still ridable) after hitting a huge chuck of glass so they are not impenetrable but easily the best protection against flats in my experience. I ride longer slower distances so the rolling resistance is not as important to me as the ability to ride home without having to fix flats at the side of the road.

I bought these for my Cannondale T800 touring bike in anticipation of riding the Lewis and Clark trail this summer. I’ve only had them on fir a couple of weeks now but am extremely pleased with their performance and riding comfort and road grip. I’d highly recommend this tire if looking for smooth running road rides and puncture resistance.
Better then the original

Recently made the switch away from tubes over to the tubeless set up on my light touring bike and I've always used these tires beforehand so when I saw the new 'tubeless' options available it was an easy choice. I think they offer even less rolling resistance then the original model and seem to have the same grip, tire protection that I'm accustomed to. So far minimal mileage on them but roll great and have had zero issues so far. Going tubeless, I recommend this tire. If your sticking with the tubes, go with the marathon Supremes (I've had a pair of those in a 32mm on my normal touring bike for the last 3 years and have never gotten a flat). Ride on!
