This cap is great. The fit on my giant melon is just right. The ear flaps do their job. They look a little weird because of the elastic, but that elastic keeps the ears covered: The improvement in ear warmth while riding is just right. I don't imagine the cap would work as well, but it might have been nice to be able to move the flaps inside the cap if one wants to wear it without covering then ears.
