An interesting idea but one wonders why this is better than just a plate and collapsible bowl. On the plus side, it is light, cleans up easily, and does seem to keep it's basic flat shape after unsnapping. I don't know what will happen after multiple uses. On the minus side, heat is quickly transferred so forget about holding a hot cup o' java or soup. If you are counting each gram, then these might work for you. But I'm hard pressed to think that these will survive multiple tours and are better than what you already have.

I bought this product mainly out of curiosity. People like me who like to tour are always looking for ways to lighten the load in our panniers would love this item because not only is it lightweight this set packs flat thus reducing bulk, a big plus!
Although I rated this product with a 5, I have yet to put it to the test on a tour. In the back of my mind I’m skeptical of the longevity of the materials used.
