One box was enough to do the forward AND rear sections of the central loop. This stuff is great, easy to work with and adjust placement, but stays put so far. you might need two boxes to cover every part of the front loop, but one box is enough if you leave a gap front and center and a small gap in by each side of the clamp. Very comfortable on the hands.
