This rack has gone thru some harsh terrain and environment. Has never failed me at all. Installed on a 2009 Cannondale T1 XL since 2010.
The ultimate touring rack when heel clearance is an issue. This rack features a lower bag mounting bar to improve the center of gravity and optimize the use of upper loading area. This design also facilitates mounting on smaller frames. Since bags are mounted further aft, they permit more heel clearance. This new Evo model features the new 3D attachment feet for improved impact absorption and integrated screw attachment. Thin walled 25CrMo4 steel tubes easily tote enough gear to take you across the country - or around the world. 88 lb load capacity*, 730g (rack only). Fits most bikes with 26"and 700c wheels (max width 60mm/2.35"). Black or Silver (until sold out).
Due to global supply chain issues, we're having trouble keeping gear in stock. We have more on the way if we're out of stock. Send us an email if you'd like us to add you to our item watchlist (cyclosource@adventurecycling.org).

Been looking at Turbus racks for some time. Principally for the heal clearance but also to be able to easily use the top of the rack while also using both panniers. As a commuter cyclist, I also wanted the flexibility to strap all types of items to the rack and have a number of anchor points to tie items down. Rack installed well and has a much more solid approach to anchoring than many other racks I have installed. Shipped quickly and arrived without any damage.

I originally got this rack to move my panniers back a bit for heel clearance. The rack accomplishes that and then so much more. There is plenty (though you wouldn't know it to look at it) of clearance near the derailleur so you don't bash it when you put on the pannier. There is room enough to drop the panniers into place without getting your fingers pinched. And the top rack; this is just so good but you never would have even thought about it: I never carry anything on the top of the rack. That way, I always have a place to carry something extra, should the need arise. Food, for example. Or souvenirs. It's also where I carry my wet tent. And the rack is set high enough that the wet tent won't soak the tops of my panniers. I learned that the hard way with my old rack. The rack itself is very sturdy. No flex to it. No rattling either. Top quality parts and pieces. You can't do better.

I found these to move the bags back on the bike just enough to give better heel clearance, built tough
