This guard works as advertised. It is easy to install and, if you don't have the disk pad spreaders, the attached one does the job. I used the guard for a trip to the Midwest for a gravel ride and it proved very useful for getting the bike in and out of my Jeep and to and from hotel rooms. A very worthwhile accessory for travel when you don't need a bike rack.
