Great light bags but not water proof

Purchased these bags for my 3 month cross country tour because of their light weight, to be used in conjunction with 2 Ortlieb paniers and handlebar bags. They met my expectations relative to light weight, easy to use, good simple and solid mounting system (although I left them on the bike all the time) but they were not waterproof (were not overfilled and topped well rolled shut) and I ended up using plastic bags as liners. During one particularly intense rainy day I had puddles under the liners I used. This issue was confirmed by a few other riders on the TA route who had used them in the past, hence I'm surprised at the ratings I've read above. Good value but with the caveat...
Lightweight and great capacity

I bought these for my On-One Bootzipper. Currently using for commuting and shopping. Also plan to use for bikepacking/touring. A seatpack is not a great option on my small frame bike, so the Dry-Lites provide a lightweight option at much more capacity than my 8-liter seatpack.

I bought these to have on my touring bike-about-town so I could stop and pick up things at a farm stand or a yard sale...but keep everything dry as I live in Vermont and precipitation happens! I love these little panniers, so expandable and so neat and tucked away when empty. A great purchase for exactly what I needed!
Excellent piece of gear

I bought these before my first 2-night bikepacking trip and I'm very glad a did. They made packing so much less stressful knowing that I instantly had 28 liters of space to use. And they are a bit like Mary Poppins purse - they just can hold a lot of stuff! Things that I had edited out of my kit all of a sudden found space inside of these! Like other people have said, the attachment system needs work. I watched the video several times and still couldn't get it quite right. Some straps came undone at some point during my ride but everything was still attached pretty well so nothing bad happened. Very glad I bought these - great product at a great price! And the customer service from Cyclosource was excellent. First shipment had an issue and they replaced them very quickly.

Used my Dri-Lites for the entire Tour Divide Route with no issues. Durable, waterproof, light! I beat these up for 2745 miles (and more, since I used them on other bikepacking trips), and they are still in great shape. These make a great gift for the aspiring bikepacker, and saving the shipping cost as an ACA member is an added bonus!
The BEST.... with one minor caveat....

I bought these trying to save a bit of weight for my second tour. They're by far the lightest waterproof panniers I've found, and boy are they waterproof! I took them out to the Catskill Mountains in NY, and upstate NY never. stops. raining. It was torrential, but the contents inside stayed completely and totally dry.
The one minor issue is the attachment system. It's definitely a bit confusing. A quick-release system would be SO beneficial. However, they are sturdy, so I can deal with the extra few minutes fiddling with the attachment.
Even the attachment system does not affect my rating, though. They are truly 5 stars, through and through. They trump Ortleib in price and weight, match them in waterproofing, and if the only problem is a finicky but manageable attachment system, so be it. Highly recommended!!

Very light, waterproof and appear durable for their weight. They are a saddlebag type, meant for rear rails with top decks. They may work on those rare front racks that do have top decks, but I haven't tested.
I really like the design. They can be carried over your shoulders saddlebag style.
They are a good size for those that don't need/want the volume of bigger panniers.
Light with lots of room

These panniers are very light but seem strong enough for day trips and general touring. The attachment system is a little odd but is stable once it is installed.

1st: Panniers are THIN. 2nd: They R extremely WATERPROOF.
3rd: Mostly, everything in the video is correct!! However, It could be because I am NOT mechanically inclined!! Putting them on the rack I had a little difficulty, so I kind of permanently secured them on to the Rack! Otherwise, WONDERFUL!!! :-)

Arkel's video states 171 cu in Instead of the 1700 for the drylites. I guess the Canadians don't know the english system well.
