The Jones 2.5 touring, bikepacking specific handlebar has arrived! the 2.5 H-Bar makes a great upgrade from a traditional flat or riser (mtb style) or a drop bar, and offer a wide range of comfortable, useful, and unique hand positions that allow you to change your body position while riding. This allows you to ride longer, more comfortably, and with greater control! The Jones H-Bars have 45 degrees of sweep to put your wrists in a natural position, and are designed to be used with longer grips which fill the entire grip area, thereby giving access to the full range of hand positions that make the H-Bars so special. Please refer to the H-Bar Manual for more information on fit, setup, and installation.
The Jones SG 2.5 Aluminum Loop H-Bar is designed especially for those riders who need or want to get the grip area of their handlebars higher without having to use steerer tube extenders. They have the same great hand positions, sweep, and wide range of light, computer, and bag mounting locations as the rest of the Jones Loop H-Bars. The Jones SG 2.5 Aluminum Loop H-Bar is the perfect upgrade for any bike that will give a wide range of comfortable and useful hand positions, lots of mounting locations, and 2.5" of rise for a more comfortable touring position! I put these on my Trek Roscoe 8 and it is a completely different feeling bike! I originally got these for my Trek Marlin 6 that I use for my longer rides (20-50 miles), but all the cables were too short. The stock handle bars on both bikes would make my hands go numb, with the Jones bar you sit more upright and just feel better while riding! I'm a 46 y/o fireman (been in the business since right out of high school) and have plenty of aches/pains and injuries to my neck & back - these bars have allowed me to be more comfortable while riding. These bars were such an improvement, I am now looking to by a Jones "do it all" bike, Jeff Jones is onto something here.

Like Brent, I'm in my 60's and prefer an upright position on my cross bike. The hand position is more natural with options to move my hands around on the bar. I also ride a road bike but probably will not switch handles. The Jones H-bar 2.5 is all that it claims to be. Definitely a good investment.

I bought a touring bike and am between sizes. Tried the smaller size with drop bars and was way too cramped. Bought the larger frame with flat bars, but even with a stem extension, I felt too stretched out. I bought the Jones 2.5 and it is the perfect solution! I am adding handlebar tape to add different hand positions for those long days.

I am in my 60's, semi-retired (work out of my house) and do several long distance rides so I like to ride in a more up-right position. I bought the "flat" Jones bar and really liked the way it handled, but I was still bent over too much. I then bought the Jones H-bar 2.5 and WOW what a huge difference! I am now in my comfort zone and can ride all day in comfort. I highly recommend this bar for those who are getting a bit older and like to ride in a more up-right position. Way to go Jones!

I put the jones bar on older mtb that had straight bar. Shifter cables & housings replaced to fit new bar. I ride in more up right position. A little more wind resistance but good trade off for more comfort in back, neck, shoulders, wrists & hands. I try to ride between 70 to 100 miles a week. A good investment!
