Ibex blended a merino/nylon/spandex fabric on the bottom; wool mesh for the upper back and straps; and a breakdown of polyester and spandex on seat and inner thigh. Form-fit and awesome to ride in. Modified 9-panel construction. Contrast stitching. Made in the U.S.A.
As one who hates elastic waist bands on all clothing,
the suspended bib shorts are both comfortable and hold the excess at my waist in place for a slimmer look.
The one piece pad where the body meets the saddle is light weight (less fabric) without any stitching in critical areas. The wool fabric is not scratchy, wicks away moisture and dries fairly well.
The only improvement might be to make the shoulder suspension adjustable for taller riders.
They are great shorts, but not cheap.
who says girls can't wear bibs?

not me! After trying on these delightfully comfy woolen bibs, I said no more to scrunchy elastic bands around my midsection and am a full-on bib-wearing chica!
