Best features, it keeps me dry and we'll ventilated. Im happy it highly visible in rain and has reflectI've features. My biggest wish, that it had pockets on either side to stowe gloves.

Will keep you dry!

I bought this jacket before cycling in France. It is a bit bulky to pack but worth its weight in functionality. After two days in the rain, I remained dry and never overheated. The long back kept my rear and seat dry as well! Purchase the detachable hood to be completely water tight.

In my experience SP products have run large. This is an exception. It runs much closer to normal sizing. If you're on the fence about which size to purchase, go larger.

Worth the price

I bought one of these two years ago. So, I'm in my third winter of wearing it. It is my preferred cover when the weather is crummy. With its various vents it can be configured to minimize over heating. My one complaint is the weather flap, which is behind the front zipper, almost always gets bound up in the zipper. I've learned to just reach in and pull it aside prior to zipping up or down. Because it is so expensive I've always treated it with kids gloves. Two months ago I fell while out for a ride. Of course the points of impact when you fall are hips, elbow and shoulder. My first concern, after scrambling out of the way of the approaching logging truck, was that I had torn my jacket. I brushed my self of and didn't notice any damage. When I got home I scrutinized my jacket and could not find the slightest scuff or abrasion. The fabric seems to be tougher than I originally thought. Good jacket. I bought one for my wife.
