The Canari Arm Protector works. Helps me feel like I'm not getting bombarded by the sun when riding in full sun light. I actually feel OK after the ride instead of baked! Several people have asked me what they are. They're wondering why maybe I'm wearing arm warmers on a hot summer day. I explain they're for sun protection and always get a satisfied "ohhhhh I see."
If you're interested in them buy one size larger than what you'd think would fit. The band around the top of them is a little too restrictive/tight so get one size larger. Four stars due to the tight band at the top. I do recommend them though.

Works great. I thought it might be too warm, but I was wrong. I've worn the arm protectors in 100 degree weather and high humidity and did not notice the heat. As a matter of fact, my arms felt a little cooler when I was in the direct sun.

The arm protectors work great in San Diego for riding along the coast on sunny days. They are a little too long (I ordered LARGE), I have pull them up a little. I guess I will order the mediums next time.
For the most part these arm protectors work as advertized

Pros: cool and comfortable. Even though I'm adding a layer of material my arms feel cool when I am moving. This is much better IMHO than using sunscreen. The sleeves are easy to put on and comfortable to wear, I put them on and forget about them.
Cons: a little short. I am 6'2" and usually wear size large jerseys, so following the sizing suggestion I purchased the sleeves in size large. To keep from having a gap between the top of the sleeves and my jersey my wrists are not completely protected. I guess I could size up to an extra large but am concerned that they would be too loose fitting on my arms.
Excellent sun protection!

I bought these after looking at a few other brands and am glad I did. So far, they have provided me with great coverage on longer rides without making me overheat. They actually help to cool my arms! Have washed a few times and they are quite durable. Highly recommended.

I have worn these on several rides now. The days were sunny and fairly warm and the arm protectors did the job. Arms stayed relatively cool and definitely did not get sunburned. Only issue pertains to the band at the top. It irritated my arm at first then I started turning it in so the cloth was against my skin instead to the elastic strip and it stayed in place and was very comfortable.

They have done a great job here in the Central Valley of California. They are more for sun protection than anything else.I like them more than putting on a lot of sunscreen.
