Three to four weeks of road cycling through the Romanian countryside and some of the larger cities and towns. Flying Washington, DC-Bucharest. May-June or September (TBD). Accommodations in B&Bs, guesthouses, private homes and small hotels likely not up to Western standards. About 45 miles a day, leisurely pace and 700-800 total miles. Pick and choose our routes, sites to see, lunch stops and overnight spots as we go.

I have extensive cycle touring experience throughout much of North America, Western and Eastern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. This will be my first trip to Romania. Seeking one sociable, flexible companion (M/F age 38+) at ease mingling with the locals who probably don’t speak English to join me.
