Stephanie is a lifelong athlete but picked up cycling only five years ago. After completing graduate school, Stephanie and her partner set out on tour in June of 2016. A year after the tour, Stephanie established the Denver chapter of Black Girls Do Bike, where she leads monthly rides for the members and shares resources and opportunities for members to become more active and self-sufficient cyclists. She is eager to contribute to the dialogue about the importance of representation and inclusion in the cycling community and welcomes any and every opportunity to advocate for increased and improved cycling infrastructure, particularly in lower-income areas and predominantly Black and Latino neighborhoods.
