Aaron Teasdale has pioneered first descents in the Andes, pedaled across the Serengeti, and was an early evangelist of backcountry bikepacking. For five years he was deputy editor of Adventure Cyclist magazine. In 2016 he was named Travel Writer of the Year by the Society of American Travel Writers, and he continues to seek the meaning of life in long bike rides.
