Production Assistant: Dynamo Jenny the Podcast

Adventure Cycling seeks a part-time, short term Production Assistant to help with the making of Adventure Cycling’s podcast Dynamo Jenny, Season 2. This is a great opportunity for an audio journalist with a passion for good storytelling to develop experience working with a team to make a full 6-episode audio series.

Dynamo Jenny focuses on the stories of underrepresented bicycle travelers and the current culture impacting who gets to ride a bike in the public sphere. The Production Assistant will be responsible for helping the team find and book the right experts and storytellers, preparing subjects for recording sessions, and performing some production and post-production work. This position will require someone with a sensitivity to DEI and the injustices that BIPOC and LGBTQI+ people face on a daily basis. This person will be comfortable with reaching out/cold calling, asking deep and open-ended questions, maintaining a flexible working schedule, and keeping deadlines.

If you are stoked to tell complex and important stories about the people who ride bikes, we want to talk to you.
