“It’s not about the destination. It’s the journey. My advice ... is just get out there and do a trip. It doesn’t need to be a lot of miles. Just have the experience of doing it. You’ll fall in love with overnight bicycle trips.” –2017 Bike Travel Weekend participant
Adventure Cycling Association will host its very first, supported bike overnight during Bike Travel Weekend on Saturday, June 2 through Sunday, June 3 on the Snoqualmie Valley Trail. Don’t worry about traffic as you ride your hybrid or mountain bike on this one-night, beginner-friendly adventure. This overnight is open to all cyclists, including kids of all ages who want a relaxed and inspiring adventure in the company of popular Adventure Cycling Tour Leader Tom “Ranger Tommy” Radley, and exhilarating author/speaker Willie Weir.
On this fully supported overnight trip with “on-trail” assistance, we’ll take care of transporting your gear and provide you with a catered dinner by KJ Productions on Saturday night and full breakfast on Sunday morning so you can enjoy the crushed gravel Snoqualmie Valley Trail, impressive Snoqualmie Falls, and Rattlesnake Lake. Enjoy lunch at your own expense on Saturday and Sunday at restaurants in quaint towns along the route. We’ll camp on Saturday night at Twin Falls Middle School with the comfort of indoor restrooms, showers, and an indoor dining area.
Join Adventure Cycling for this magical weekend during Bike Travel Weekend when thousands of people throughout the world ride to their favorite campground, B&B, or hotel — all on the same weekend. Register for the Snoqualmie Valley Sojourn.
