Regional Gathering in Gainesville, FL (after Bike Florida's annual conference)

Join Adventure Cycling Association and Bike Florida at a couple of special bike travel events in Gainesville on October 28. Adventure Cycling’s executive director, Jim Sayer, will be in town as keynote speaker at Bike Florida’s annual conference and at a free reception later in the afternoon.

At the conference, focused on bike tourism, Jim will present the latest trends in bike travel, and touch on many Adventure Cycling initiatives, including better bike access on Amtrak, the official U.S. Bicycle Route System, new bicycle routes (like Bicycle Route 66 and the Chicago-NYC route via Indianapolis and Pittsburgh), new tours, and new events. There will be much more to learn at the conference and many kindred spirits; you can attend at the Wyndham Garden Hotel for just $40 with lunch and other refreshments included. Register or get more information by clicking here.

Following the conference at 4:30 pm, also at the Wyndham, there will be a reception with drinks and snacks and Jim will give a short talk. This is open and free to Adventure Cycling members, friends, and the public. If you plan to go, we would appreciate an RSVP so the organizers have a count for the refreshments.

When: Friday, October 28 — conference from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; reception from 4:30 to 6:00 pm

Where: Wyndham Garden Hotel at 2900 SW 13th Street, Gainesville, Florida

Please RSVP for the reception at or (406) 532-2751 by October 26. Register for the conference at this website.

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you in Gainesville!
