Join Adventure Cycling Association and the Bicycle Coalition of Maine for a special regional gathering at L.L. Bean’s Flagship Store in Freeport, Maine on Wednesday, November 9 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm (program starts at 6:30). Adventure Cycling executive director Jim Sayer will be on hand to talk about the latest in national (and global) bike travel news, including: cool new bike routes all over North America (such as the new Bicycle Route 66 and Texas Hill Country loop and the forthcoming Chicago-NYC route), bike overnights, the U.S. Bicycle Route System, new tours, partnerships with Amtrak and the National Park Service to promote cycling, and national and state advocacy efforts. You’ll also enjoy some local updates and beautiful imagery of bike adventures from around the planet. There will be refreshments (courtesy of Bicycle Coalition of Maine) and a chance to hob-nob with Jim and many other folks interested in bike travel. Please join us and bring a friend!
