Adventure Cycling will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Bikecentennial with a yearlong celebration in 2016. It's all going to kick off with an evening at the Kettlehouse Brewing Co.'s Northside Brewery, 313 N. 1st St. W., Missoula, on Wednesday, January 13, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Join us at the Northside Kettlehouse to find out more about the Montana Bicycle Celebration, a festival for cycling enthusiasts of all ages, July 15–17, 2016, in Missoula and the Bitterroot Valley. The Montana Bicycle Celebration will include two ticketed evening events on Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16, featuring Bikecentennial founders, other inspiring speakers, music, art, and film. The weekend will also include a celebration of the newly-minted Missoula to Lolo Trail with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and free and inclusive bike rides on the Bitterroot Trail, followed by a festive Expo at Silver Park on Saturday, July 16. Sunday Streets Missoula and BIKEapalooza, a community bike ride, on Sunday, July 17, will round out this unforgettable weekend.
Raffle: Everyone who attends the Northside Community UNite on January 13 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. will be entered for a chance to win a Montana Bicycle Celebration package, which includes two tickets to the event, Adventure Cycling socks, Bikecentennial notecards, and a hydro flask.
Meet and Greet: Adventure Cycling staff and representatives from event partners Destination Missoula, Missoula Parks and Recreation, Missoula in Motion, Missoula County Parks and Trails Program, Bike Walk Alliance for Missoula, and others, will be available at the Kettlehouse to answer questions about the Montana Bicycle Celebration.
As a bonus, the Kettlehouse Brewing Co. will donate 50 cents from every pint sold on January 13 to Adventure Cycling Association.
